Privacy Policy

Effective October 21, 2026 · Last updated October 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Samvle Inc. ("Samvle", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit samvle.co, share an idea with our venture studio, or contact us about our services. We are based in Ontario, Canada, and we handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where it applies, Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

1. Who is responsible

Samvle Inc. is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Our Privacy Officer is responsible for the protection of personal information. You can reach them at team@samvle.co with "Privacy" in the subject line.

2. What we collect

When you share an idea (Share Your Idea form)

  • About you: your name, email address, where you're based (optional), your building experience and how you describe yourself.
  • About your idea: everything you choose to tell us, such as the idea's name, summary, problem, audience, alternatives, revenue thoughts, stage, timeline, the help you're looking for, the resources you bring, your concerns, links and any files you attach.
  • Your choices: your agreement to this policy, and whether you'd like occasional updates from us.

When you contact us (Contact form or email)

  • Your name, email address, the topic, your message, and optionally your company, team size, the service you're interested in and when you'd like to start.

Collected automatically

  • Technical information: your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, recorded in our hosting provider's standard server logs and used to keep the site secure and working.
  • Spam protection: our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks signals from your browser to confirm you're a person. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
  • Saved drafts: while you fill in the Share Your Idea form, your answers are saved in your own browser (local storage) so you don't lose them. This draft stays on your device, is not sent to us until you submit, and is cleared when you submit. Attached files are not saved in drafts.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers on samvle.co.

Please don't include sensitive information we don't need, such as health, financial account or government ID details, in your submissions.

3. How we use it

  • To review and evaluate your idea, prepare your Venture Blueprint, and reply to you.
  • To respond to enquiries about our services, set up conversations and prepare proposals.
  • To send emails you've asked for or that relate to your submission or enquiry, such as confirmations, questions, your Blueprint and our decision.
  • To send occasional updates and resources, only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To protect our site and forms against spam, abuse and security threats.
  • To keep records needed to run our business and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we never use your idea to build anything without you.

4. Use of AI tools

Our team uses trusted AI tools to help review submissions. A person reviews every submission, and no decision about you is made by AI alone. Our AI providers are not permitted to use your information to train their models.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with trusted service providers that help us run Samvle, under agreements that require them to protect it and use it only for the services they provide to us. These include providers of:

  • website hosting and spam protection;
  • workflow automation and record keeping;
  • AI tools that assist our team with reviews;
  • email delivery and our business mailbox;
  • document generation;
  • web fonts used to display this site.

You can ask our Privacy Officer for more information about the service providers we use.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger, with protections for your information. We never share your idea publicly.

6. Where your information is stored

Some of our service providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States and the European Union. While it's there, it may be accessible to courts and authorities in those countries under their laws. We choose providers with strong security practices and contractual protections.

7. How long we keep it

  • Idea submissions, evaluations and Blueprints: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless we start working together, in which case we keep what's needed for that work.
  • Attached files: up to 12 months after submission.
  • Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact, or longer if they become a client relationship.
  • Emails and business records: as long as needed for the purpose and for legal, tax and accounting requirements.

You can ask us to delete your submission at any time (see section 9).

8. How we protect it

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) on our site, keep form settings and secret keys off the public website, store attachments privately, limit access to the people who need it, and use providers with strong security practices. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will notify you and the authorities if a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, as the law requires.

9. Your rights and choices

You can ask us to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • delete your submission or enquiry;
  • withdraw your consent, including to updates (use the unsubscribe link or email us);
  • receive information you gave us in a structured, commonly used format, where the law provides it.

Email team@samvle.co with "Privacy" in the subject line. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, the Commission d'accès à l'information.

10. Age

Samvle's services and forms are intended for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us information, please contact us and we'll delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services change. We'll post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date, and if a change is significant, we'll tell people who have an open submission or enquiry.
